Make Your Own Sew On Labels

I tried my hand at making my own labels for my items. I started this because I had my leg warmers going to a store and I wanted people to know where they came from. Here's a look at them and how you can make your own.

The fabric does fray, I'm not sure what to do about that. I think there is non fray stuff somewhere out there.

Anyways, to make the labels, you'll need:
*Inkjet printer
*Crafter's Images Photo Fabric (you can use the sheets or roll) These can be purchased at any craft store.

*Sissors
*Anti fray stuff, I googled it, but this looks promising =)

*Needle and Thread

Step 1: Rotate your logo so it is sideways. You will need to open Work Word Processor or something similar.
Step 2: You will insert your logo as picture onto your program. Fill your sheet. You may need to re-size your logo to the size you would like. (make sure you save for future use)

Step 3: Insert your craft photo sheet in your printer. The back of the package will tell you which way to insert sheet depending on your printer.
Step 4: Print
Step 5: Cut out your labels. Make sure to leave enough room around your label to sew it on your project.

Step 6: Add the Anti Fray liquid as instructed on label. I haven't used it yet, but will definitely be buying some!
Step 7: Sew on label to your project and you're done!

It is very simple. I get 24 labels per sheet and 6 sheets. So, for $12.99 (before coupons) I get 144 labels!

I hope this helps you all out =) Have any questions? Leave me a comment and I will get back to you as soon as I can! Thanks for stopping by!

The Crochet Biz

It's weird, this business. One week you have 10 bagillion orders, the next 3 weeks, none! Over the summer, my most popular items are photo props. I don't think I sold 1 beanie that wasn't used for photos.

This set (made by me) was photographed by the talented Photography by Mendy Colby. Isn't this so precious?

I love it though because I get photos back to use as advertisement.

This Yoda hat photo with this amazing baby was done by the talented TS Loves Photography! I love everything she does!

Right now, my orders consist of Halloween beanies of all sizes and football related items! Yay football! Go Chargers! =)

I love this time of year because I get to make things that I would never think to make or don't have time to make normally, like these leg warmers. The Adorable Chile in TN ordered 24 pair of leg warmers to put in her store =) Telling you I was excited would be an understatement. I love how these chevron ones came out.

I, also, love when I get requests for movie characters, like, Mike and Sully from Monsters Inc.

I made my 1st tutu set for a friends daughter for her 2nd birthday.

I love what I do! I meet new friends, even if just online, and make a little pocket money. Soon, I will be making some doggy sweaters for a friends. I will show you how they turn out =)

Would you like to see me make something else? Would you like to order something for you or someone else? 'Like' my page on facebook, www.facebook.com/verolitascreations and send me a message =)

Have a great night all!
